Firdaus & Lissa - Reception, KGPA

Time : 8.30 pm
Venue : KGPA, Petaling Jaya
The reception took place at KGPA, u know that place along the Sprint Highway opposite Phileo Damansara where u can see that really BIG golf ball thingey popping out amongst the trees and billboards  Firdaus and Lissa wore creamish-white that nite and they looked ultimately stunning. The place was awesome, the reception area over looks the scenery of the golf course, with the fountain and all. And the bride and groom even got a ride on the golf cart of their way to the pelamin area. Definitely a great place for weddings

Firdaus & Lissa - Nikah

Venue : Lissa's Place, Selayang
Red is the theme for Firdaus and Lissa's majlis pernikahan. I love it when the theme is red. Correct me if im wrong, I've been told that DSLR is more sensitive to red color than the others thus making your pictures more vibrant and more saturated.
The couple looked really lovely on that night. Lissa with her red wedding dress and Firdaus, which i think the coolest groom i've ever seen shaking the tok kadi's hand. no matter how hard the tok kadi trying to "saiko" firdaus, it seems that it backfired the tok kadi. Time akad, tok kadi yg kantoi! hehehe.. Firdaus with one breath, finished the job, making it looked easy.. haha..
Congrats to both of you... may you guys live happily ever after...

On July 7th, 8th and 9th avicenna studio was the official photographer for forum UMNO regarding Islam Hadhari at Grand Seasons Hotel. That was the biggest event i've ever covered so far, and hopefully more exciting events will be coming in along the way. I had never covered for 3 straight days, and it starts from 5.30am in the morning (ye la dah kata islam hadhari, kena la dtg kulliyah subuh .. hahaha) until 11pm at night. Tired? I slept for 14 hours after the event.. imagine that!! but not to forget the food.. they pampered us with lotsa food and i had no choice but to switch off my diet mode for those 3 days.. hahhaha.. the 3rd was the most exciting one. The guest of honor, our beloved prime minister did the closing ceremony and i had a wonderful experience taking pictures of the vips including pak lah himself.

Eleena & Jasni - Nikah

This should be up a month ago.. biasa lah.. king of procrastination.. hahaha.. been bz lately, sampai nak update pun sometimes takde masa. Eleena is a childhood friend of mine, known her since.. emmm maybe around standard 5 if im not mistaken. that was 14 years ago. n now she's happily married to a very wonderful husband, jasni.
The akad nikah took place at a surau nearby Eleena's house, just a walking distance. Eleena was simply stunning with her ala-ala mat saleh kacuk melayu outfit.. nothing much to say about this nikah ceremony... the pictures should tell you more.. enjoy!

Zekri and As - Home Reception

Time : 12pm
Venue : Groom's Place, Bandar Baru Bangi
The color is blue again. For two straight weeks, I shot a blue wedding. It must be the IN thing today. Including me. The groom is my cousin, hence our famliy had to wear blue along with the newlyweds. The couple has been married for about a week. Akad ceremony was performed the week before in Sitiawan, at the bride's hometown.
Shooting this wedding was kinda challenging for me. The heat was simply unbelievable. My palms were wet, my body looked like i was just got out of the shower and i was trying my very best to get my shots done. But alhamdulillah, everything went well. Managed to get a few decent shots for them and also for my own portfolio. To Abg Zek and Kak As, congratulations to both of you. May you live happily ever after...

Shahida and Khairul - Reception

Date: 4th June 2005
Time : 12pm
Venue : Dewan Merak Kayangan
Shahida and Khairul's reception took place on a cloudy afternoon in the lovely Dewan Merak Kayangan in Jalan Gurney Kuala Lumpur. Turquoise-blue was the color of the day. Alhamdullilah,everything went on smoothly as planned with the helped of their family members.
Family, friends and fellow colleagues were present to witness the merenjis air mawar ceremony by family and parents of the bride and groom. The family made a good choice with food selection for the day. Among the dishes that were served were rendang ayam, daging dendeng, daging masak kari, sambal udang (large ones), mixed veggie and tapai ice cream for dessert.
For the newlyweds, Selamat Pengantin Baru, Semoga Kekal Ke Anak Cucu.. Insyallah

Shahida and Khairul - Akad Nikah

Time: 10am
Venue: Bride's place, Subang Jaya
Red was the color of the day and Shahida looked simply stunning. Somehow she even looked like siti if u look carefully. It was a simple ceremony at the bride's place. The crowd was not that big, therefore easy for me to get the shots that i wanted. The akad, was smooth. The father of the bride took the responsibility to "nikah" them both, and Khairul did it in one breath. Congrats to both of them.
